The Check Number bot will check a phone number and country with the telephone carriers for that country to determine if the number is valid.
If it is, it will also check what type of number it is (i.e. mobile, landline, etc.).
It will then place the number into the proper Phone field as indicated.
Note: This bot carries a per search cost of 1 cent per number checked and will check all Phone fields on the contact record.
How Folks Are Using the Check Number Bot
Sort Numbers by TypeCheck phone numbers as leads come in to sort the phone number by type. This allows you to know what options are available when you receive a phone number.
Correctly Format NumbersChecking phone numbers and formatting them to include full country code based on the contacts country.
Get Rid of Bad NumbersThis can be used to weed out bad numbers before you try to text them, saving you money and time (if you were going to call the number).
