What is the Move It Bot?
The Move It Bot will copy a value from one field to another in the contact record.
If you have custom fields that can be regularly saved over, you can first move that data out to a different field. This works great for contact surveys that you run multiple times for contacts.
How Folks Are Using the Move It Bot
Save Emails without SpammingWhen someone opts out of receiving emails, I use the Move It Bot to copy their email address to the Email 2 or 3 field before running an action set to clear the email field.
This way, you can continue to use the email address for syncing the contact to a custom audience and for identification purposes, but you won't accidentally email them again. This helps you get more accurate counts on who you can and cannot email.
